Christina O’Neill is a Helpmann award winning actor. She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in 2005. Most recently, she appeared as Susan/Adelaide Adams in Calamity Jane at the Arts Centre and in Eddie Perfect’s Vivid White at Melbourne Theatre Company. Her musical theatre credits include: Christmas Eve in Avenue Q (Arts Asia Pacific) for which she won a Helpmann Award; Julie LaVerne in Show Boat (The Production Company); the Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods and Dot in Sunday in the Park with George (Victorian Opera); Maddy in Prodigal (45 Downstairs); Lady of the Lake (standby) in Monty Python’s Spamalot (Louise Withers & Associates); Tell Me on A Sunday (Kookaburra) and as a Diva in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert the Musical (Back Row Productions). Christina is an ensemble member of Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre, having playing leading roles in a succession of highly-acclaimed productions: Control, Right Now, The River, Middletown, Belleville, Straight and The Motherf*cker with the Hat over the course of the past few years. She played April White in Workhorse Theatre Company’s Savage in Limbo and appeared in Gaybies for the Midsumma Festival. She also features on the original Australian cast recording of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and on the albums, Showqueen Sessions and Together Apart. Christina’s screen credits include Mr. Black (Channel Ten), Winners & Losers (Seven Network), The Divorce (ABC), City Homicide (Seven Network), and the feature film, Relic.
